Earlier in the summer there was a blog about a buy back in Chicago. local churches were paying $100/gun and a local club made several thousand for their junior shooting program turning in junkers and $50 guns they bought just for the event.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34529754.post-12424837383141241492007-10-08T13:53:00.000-05:002007-10-08T13:53:00.000-05:00Yep, I'm sorta ok with it if they use George Soros...Yep, I'm sorta ok with it if they use George Soros's money, but I'd rather not have public funds abused in this manner.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34529754.post-54150493321092498472007-10-08T12:57:00.000-05:002007-10-08T12:57:00.000-05:00I sometimes wonder how the Liberals think this and...I sometimes wonder how the Liberals think this and/or gun bans will ever help. Do they believe making guns illegal matters to criminals? (Extreme sarcasm) Yes, because the criminals care what the law says about what weapons they can own. Gun buybacks to me seem useless, except for one case: Some forty-year-old handguns and rifles that will never fire again since they weren't properly cared for, and since they usually say "regardless of age or condition", people can get a few hundred bucks for some junkyard guns, and pro-gun industries can do the same thing, and, like you said, "now that's a smile".

--OwenChrist'sBlondeGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10069698692139043529noreply@blogger.com
