
I would also point out that the good guys don't have a monopoly on body armor (and no--I'm not advocating additional restrictions on civilian ownership of body armor). If brave citizen Mark Allen Wilson had been armed with a firearm capable of defeating body armor, perhaps he would have survived, and David Hernandez Arroyo, Sr. would have been stopped earlier.Today's St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner. Finally, the Second Amendment exists to protect the people's means to resist would-be tyrants by force of arms. That's not limited to unarmored would-be tyrants. [More]
