Gun 'buy backs' and math, Chicago-style

Even with the "though the amount actually offered for any particular weapon varied" caveat, that sounds like quite a shortfall. Where did the difference come from? The city budget? Last summer, we were told that the city's 2010 budget was more than a half billion dollars short.

Chicago math--maybe if the Chicago Public Schools system placed less emphasis on lobbying for more draconian gun laws, and more on simple arithmetic . . . [More]
