Seeing Obama's statement about "talking to experts," during the oil spill days reminds me of something, though. Where have we recently heard about "talking to experts" about "Operation Fast and Furious"? Oh, yeah--the supposed "expertise" assembled by Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) for his "Gunwalker" show trial against gun rights (it was not an actual hearing) last week.
