Presumably, she has some awareness of the fact that it's difficult to teach kids about "the difference between toy guns and real firearms," without ever exposing them to real firearms. After all, even the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has trouble figuring out the difference between real guns and toys. It's also interesting that the "four gun safety teaching points" promoted by the California Bureau of Firearms ("Stop! Don't Touch. Leave the area. Tell an adult.") are exactly the four taught in the NRA's "Eddie Eagle" program.
