Gun ban zealot asks 'where is gun control,' doesn't look in tyrannical countries

Going back a little further in history, "gun control" was in the killing fields of Cambodia. It helped fill the mass graves of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. It played a starring role in every genocide of the 20th century.

"Where is 'gun control,'" Sanghoee? Now you know. Pack your bags, and don't forget to write. On second thought, just pack your bags. [More]

That's today's St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner. Please give it a look, and tell a friend.

And maybe the other amendments in the Bill of Rights should be interpreted as "suggestions" or "guidelines," not literally. No more pesky freedom of speech or freedom of the press or freedom of religion. Just editorials in the government-controlled media about Emperor Obama's beautiful new clothes.

When anti gun rights advocates talk about either banning guns altogether, or placing restrictions on them that are so rigid that for all intents and purposes guns are made illegal, all they are doing is eliminating the legal guns. The gun control laws that are being passed are aimed at keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and other undesirable people. This is fine and good, but the only problem is that a crook isn't particularly eager to go out and fill out countless forms, get registered as a gun owner, pay numerous fees, get a license, and generally wade through a lot of red tape to be able to own a gun, particularly a semi automatic or a fully automatic weapon before they go and commit a crime. A smart crook can get his hands on just about anything he wants to without going through the feds. In fact, that is exactly what they want. The problem is not that we need to place more legal restrictions on guns and restrict the amount of ammunition that a person can buy in a sitting. In fact, when these laws are passed, they are actually disarming the law abiding citizens rather than the crooks, since of course the law abiding citizens have to obey those laws in order to get a gun, while the crooks get off scot free. I'm not advocating that people should just be selling machine guns, m1 rifles, and aa12 submachine guns with impunity to whoever happens to come along, but I am saying that more rigid gun control laws are not preventing criminals from acquiring more dangerous military grade weapons.
