Piers Morgan's 'threat' gives gun owners brand new reason for excitement

An article of faith among the gun ban zealots is the notion that Americans are rapidly becoming disenchanted with firearms, and are instead embracing restrictive gun laws. That's a difficult assertion to defend when one considers that Morgan's "news" career has sustained considerable damage stemming from his "gun control" advocacy, despite performing for an audience probably not representing a particularly "pro-gun" segment of America's TV-watching population.

And if he is "not done with [us] yet," that situation can only get still better. [More]

That's today's St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner. Please give it a look, and tell a friend--and Facebook "likes" and "shares" are hugely appreciated.

I don't even know where to start. Piers Morgan, like many of the media elite, has probably caused a lot of people to join the NRA (and/or to donate to the Tea Party), if only for spite. And it is not just the gun issue. More and more Americans are fed up with the (so-called) "mainstream" media's arrogant elitism. That's why Fox News ratings keep going up, while CNN's and MSNBC's keep going down.

Morgan is a perfect example of how the media are out of touch. TV producers and network executives are impressed because he has a British accent. Therefore, he seems suave and sophisticated. And, when you are fifteen, being (or, at least, appearing) sophisticated is a high priority. And, emotionally and intellectually, most people in the media are about fifteen years old.
