The fundamental truth that Maher and Obama both are clearly ignoring is that any agenda that cannot win through on its own merits--its true merits--is an agenda that deserves to go down in flames. Those pushing that agenda, and the lies, deserve a similar fate. [More]

Limousine liberals actually approve of politicians lying to advance the leftist agenda. They firmly believe that the end justifies the means. If you point out that Obama or Clinton lied about something, they respond with, "Well, he had to say that to get elected," or, "He had to make that false promise to win in a swing state." The idea of deceiving voters seems terribly sophisticated. And limousine liberals value sophistication above quaint concepts like honesty and integrity. When you are fifteen, being sophisticated and cool is a high priority. And, emotionally and intellectually, people like Bill Maher are fifteen years old.
