No 'slippery slope' toward total forcible citizen disarmament? Think again

The "slippery slope" is indeed real, but if we reach the bottom, it will not be to find the "gun free paradise" that Schakowsky envisions. At the bottom of that slope lies bloody civil war--and America's gun owners do not intend to lose. [More]

I'm not so sure I believe that gun owners are willing to go to war to keep their guns. In California, gun owners are turning them in when the cops knock and ask for them.

A gun owner who won't be bothered to write his congressman, or won't risk losing his job by calling in sick to attend a pro-rights rally certainly won't risk death to fight a war.

No, I think that gun owners will meekly submit, and then bitch about it on the internet.
