When gun bans are not enough--the war on . . . pocket knives?

By the way, a discussion of the illegality of switchblades in the first place, and how to reconcile such a ban with shall not be infringed, is beyond the scope of this article, but it's a discussion worth having.

I realize that this is not the "St. Louis Knife Rights Examiner," but consider what a rule change banning 80% of the folding knives currently on the market implies about what the federal government will do with regard to guns. [More]
Today's St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner. If they can do it to knives, they can do it to guns. Please give it a look.

Thanks for this, Kurt. Messages have been sent to my senators and house member, along with a link to your on-point (as always) article.

Kurt,
I also have written my Senators, and linked to this as well. I think most gun carriers also carry pocket knives. It's just too useful a tool. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Doesn't make a damn what they do or vote for, I am not giving up another damn thing to them. NOthing. Currently I don't carry a firearm, I have, but not since it actually became legal. I do not leave the house undressed "A gentlemen always wears a pocket knife". I am always a gentleman.

I will carry whatever I want when I want and I will not ask permission. The fact that I don't carry a firearm now has not one damn thing to do with the law. I no longer care about the law. Only what is right and what marks me as whole and free.
