So why the picture of Kirsten Gillibrand and her new beau, who are, after all, only co-sponsors of the bill? Because her appointment to the U.S. Senate was billed as something of a victory for gun rights, because of her reputation as a "pro-gun" (and NRA "A" rated) Democrat. Soon we'll see what the 65 "pro-gun Democrats" in the House are made of. This is a bill the other sides thinks it can pass, because it's so "reasonable" that many ostensibly "pro-gun" legislators will support it. To stop it, we'll need to be actively involved. [More]
